Your poem powerfully shares the relentless force of nature. . The repetition of "Cruel monster Nature often is" works so well. I could feel the harshness of natural disasters. Great job!

Excellent

I can attest to the wrath of Mother Nature. Just recently without warning a rain storm suddenly became a tornado, chopping down tree after tree along our riverbanks. The once beautiful landscape became uprooted trees, broken branches and so much more work to be cleared. We were lucky though...no lives were taken.

Yes, we all were. There are 30 houses in a small subdiviion in the country and all the trees were snapped, but no one was hurt. We were blessed.
