wait... you can shake hot chocolate?? never heard that before - always just stir it...

i took the 'stars tremble in blue' as the stars shaking in sadness... but that could be just me

anyway, very cool five senses poem - they are written about well
love the mix of jasmine and hot chocolate

thank you for sharing!
shelley :)

In the top picture, the phrase, "Shaken, not stirred" is inspired by a fictional character, Agent 007 James Bond's famous phrase. It's the way he prefers his martini cocktail. Only older people will know who Bond is.

Thank you very much for the excellent review. Have a wonderful weekend.

    Thank you very much, Shelley.

This was such a comforting poem. I loved the line stars tremble in blue. I got the feeling that the stars trembled in excitement and anticipation about being wished upon. Such a magical and cozy poem. Gretchen

This is a beautiful piece about how important family is, and how their spirits can linger with us long after they have sadly passed. An excellent piece of writing, I really enjoyed reading it.

Love your nostalgic poem, MariVal. And what a treat to have before bed. Although I think the chocolate would make me hyper but maybe the carbs of the churros would make me sleepy. You always know how to bring in all the senses in your poems.
Suggestion:
jasmin imbued breeze (jasmine-imbued)

a lovely use of the five senses, thinking about your mother and grandmother - happy thoughts, and hot cocoa before you go to sleep.
You can't beat that.
So, you created the sign, too? or rather, it looks like a chalkboard. Very nice!

This is a lovely sensory poem evoking favorite childhood memories~wishing on stars, hearing musical winds blow, smelling flower breezes and yummy treats, tasting that bedtime snack, and feeling the coziness of being tucked in by loving hands. Great presentation! Well done!
