In my mind, Sami should not have told Noah the results of the pregnancy test but left it for Bob and Sarah to let him know. So all these illegal immigrants are just now starting to arrive sfter more than three weeks with none? Did they not know this was a potential pkace for illegal immigrants when they set it up as a safety house. I am a bit surprised about this sudden turn of events. But the chapter is a well written and interesting one.

I saw no problems in your writing. You have gotten everyone involved in a plan should illegal aliens try to enter their area. But is there any reason so many would enter this area now when no one passed through in the previous 20 days or so?

Things are getting so much more complicated than simply rescuing Myra. Now we have a deep romance, a pregnant officer, and a bunch of migrants to have an encounter with the Texas DPS. Thanks for the info about the change in stats in border crossings.

Glad someone is doing something about the illegal border crossings. I didn't know the mainstream media reported on them. Lots of action going on in this. I hope Sami doesn't do something to shake things up but follows Noah's directions. She does seem to be maturing a bit. I like her concern about Sarah and the pregnancy. Noah wants to protect Sarah, but he's also following protocol. Poor Jasper! He may not like having to be confined, if they have to get in the closet. You have a lot of things going on in this chapter, and you're bringing them together wonderfully. judi

It took our governor that long to get it in place, because the Biden administration brought lawsuits, stating Texas was breaking the law.

And Kamala Harris will follow the same policy. I heard a statement from her that she was in favor of the migrants getting health care and education just like citizens do. judi

A well written chapter, lots dialogue where the readers get to 'listen in' and gather lots of needed information, some background, and confirmation of feelings, restrictions, and the reasoning behind them. Also, your characters are very open with each other.

Ooh, more intrigue and possible danger. The story is changing and introducing something new, different and dangerous. There is no way your critics can say that your story is boring or predictable. Anyone claiming this is just jealous and can be ignored.
