Thanks, Nikki! I remember many a day I would come home from work and find my house overflowing with neighborhood kids and my own playing video games or making a movie with the home camera....and of course emptying my kitchen of snacks. Thanks for the kind review.

I have had those days. I have seen these signs: Quit Tresspassing we are running out of yard! Tresspassers will be detained permanently. I am tired today, if you tresspass, you will have to dig your own grave. There are all kinds of those signs.
I made one once, it said : Tresspassers will be forced to do housework. Karen

Now that would have kept the kids away! Work is a dirty word! I would come home from a long day and discover my house was filled with the neighborhood kids plus my own, playing video games and clearing out my kitchen. They'd settle on the deck for a while and would soon be back to the games.

My kid knew that they had chores and chores come before play. Then they could play till supper time, then do homwork, then tv or games till bedtime.
We had extra kids around suppertime it seemed like. I wrote a note to one momma. I told her either she sends me money or keeps her kid home, he is eating me broke. She sent $20 a week. this was in the early eighties. :-)

Ohhhh dear! She really has had it, hasn't she? I hadn't noticed this event before but I'm glad I found this entry. The picture is perfect for it, and I especially like the backyard burials. Never stress a stressed-out mum!

Thanks so much for stopping by to read my club entry. I saw someone else had posted and thought, why not. I imagine I came home from work a few times and felt this way, but I promise my five and the entire neighborhood kids who hung out at my house survived.

Lol. I enjoyed these very humorous warning signs. Yes, I think you will be left undisturbed. Everyone will just walk on by. Well done. Thanks for sharing.

I use to come home from work and find the entire neighborhood of kids in my house, having fun with video games. There were times when enough was enough. They just moved outside on the deck for a while and then I'd bring out some kind of treat. A softy!

Good sign to get your point across that Mom's nerves are frazzled. This is a fun contest, especially since everyone has such cute pictures. Best of luck in the contest.

I guess I hit this point a time or two in my lifetime, especially with five kids and the entire neighborhood kids calling my house home. It was difficult to come home from work exhausted and find total disaster, but they all survived. LOL

I'm not sure that's what you expected as an entry for your club contest, but for some reason that's where my mind was at the moment. Thank you for finding the humor. Have a great day, Helen!

Okay. I laughed. Hard. Too funny. That woman in the picture looks like she is committing the murdered herself! Ha.
Lots said with so few words. Well done!

Carol, This is just too cute and funny, but I bet so many mothers feel this way at times. You used great descriptive words and very neat imagery from the artwork you chose. Best wishes in the contest. love and blessings, Teri

This definitely did make me laugh as I was reading it. I loved the "payment due in advance" part as well which really did stand out big and bold. Another excellent piece.

Thanks, Jacob! I read some one's sign about Covid and suddenly I thought, I can do that! It was fun and I just might do it again. Appreciate the review and I'm glad you laughed.
