Great artwork and story to go with it, Rhonda. You are very ambitious to finish one book and go to another. Any hints on the type of book that will be?

This chapter flowed easily from one scene to the next. The dialogue was good, and it was a good way to end the chapters involving Hades. A very good opening verse shows the strength and power of Thanatos and Hypnos. I like how you handle the situation here with Theo being given the chance to give the right to kill Hades to Apollo.

I was surprised Hades didn't have more to say on the matter, but he had been badly defeated and stripped of his power. His bravado was also gone. Somehow you manage to make me feel a little sorry for him, but not enough to give him his power back.

But you bring in Persephone instead, and that was a good thing to do. I like how you had her enter the story. She presents a life filled with the beauty and the relationship they used to have even though they don't know how long they will have to be together.

I like the ending of the chapter as Hades pleads for his life, and keeps his bargain. He also apologizes to Echo. I like how you handled that so each one understood the other and didn't hold grudges. Hades makes sure his dog is taken care of, and even tells them about tipping the boatman at thee river Styx.

I look forward to seeing what you will do with the second part. I am guessing it will have something to do with Theo, Echo, and Theo's family, like a happy reunion. Very well done, my friend.

    Hi Pam,
Thank you so much for the review, and especially for the six stars. I am dismally behind on responding, but am getting used to the pace of having the students back in class.

Thanks for all the comments!! Yes, Hades was, literally, brought to his knees in this chapter. I really should have had a bit more on his reaction to it. I will probably go back and fix that. You inferred what I should have been more specific about.
I did have him plead for his life after reuniting with Persephone, but should have beefed up that part as well. I guess I was trying to keep it short since I had made the last one so long. Still, a sentence or two should fix that.
Yes, the next part will focus on the Reunion and rebuilding of Theo's word, and the return of his parents.

    Thanks again,
    Rhonda

You are very welcome and deserving of the stars and review, Rhonda. I appreciate your reply, and there's never a problem about responding. I don't get to mine all at once, either.

    Hi Barbara,
Thank you so much for the six stars, my friend!! Thank you, as well, for your support and comments. They have all been most helpful! I will probably start on the prequel to it. I started it on here a couple of years ago, but it was at a time I was recovering from the loss of my mother and from surgery. I think I only did the first chapter, lol. I'll have to find a way to bring it back.
    Hugs,
    Rhonda

As ever, a work of art here, skilfully steering your story to a happy finale. It surprised me how Hades suddenly lost his immortality. Was it the power of Apollo over him? I must have missed something. I love how you bring these little extras in, like Echo snorting and letting the dogs out. Such attention to detail, often humorous, in your characters, the originality of your story and vivid depiction of good prevailing over bad all make this the complete package. Well done, Rhonda! Take care Debbie xo

Debi, thank you so much for the lovely review!! I appreciate the support and praise.

Thanatos was the one who took his Immortality as he did with Theo and Hermes when they first started their trial to reach him and his brother.

    thank you again and again,
    Rhonda

This was another engaging chapter in your novel, Rhonda, I was glad to see that Hades surrendered in the end, although I wonder if you have plans for him to make a come back at any time soon, I imagine that would definitely be in his nature. An excellent piece, I really enjoyed reading it.

Hi Jacob, I certainly left it open for a sequel, though I have a prequel first about how Theo's parents came to be royalty in Concorde Valley.
Thank you for coming in on the book like you've done. I appreciate the time and effort,
    Rhonda

Fabulous!!!! Oh my, what a turn of events in a redemptive way. I had forgotten for a moment that Thanatos was the controller of death. Very interesting and I'll wait to see if that important fact spills into part two of the FINALE! Oh, I don't want this book to end! But, I do look forward to having a signed copy of your book!
Sending you my best today as always, Rhonda dear, and Love & Blessings across the bridge.
Your forever Fan &'Friend,
Sal XOs

    Dearest Sally,
Thank you for reading and reviewing in such a timely and supportive manner.
Yes, Thanatos is the big guy in charge. Sort of Hades' boss, now Apollo's.
Now, taking it to print is a next step, but one that frightens me after more than 10 years since I published last. Eeeek!!
    Much love,
    Rhonda

Thank you for the six stars, Carol!!
Only two people could ever do it, one out of power, and the other for love. He's still a romantic at heart, lol. It's a Greek god thing, lol.
    Thanks again, my friend,
