I liked the way you used hefty amounts of dialogue to move the story along. It was particularly noticeable in this chapter. I became a little muddled by the different threads you had running. Perhaps it would have been advantageous to reorganise the plot slightly. kay

Generally, my stories do use a lot of dialogue, but this one has had a rough start. I hope it will smooth out now as I start again. I usually do have more than one thing going at a time though. Thanks for reading this chapter and for the suggestions. I'm just starting the next one so I will try to keep it in mind not to jump around too much.

I like this chapter a little better. I needed an Eleanor fix to capture my interest. You write terrific stories, so if this isn't my cup of tea, don't let it bother you. There are so many crime stories that sometimes I get tired of them.

Well, it's only Tuesday and this cowboy is all out of bullets. I don't understand that someone who reads 100 or 200 posts in a week would get the same allotment of stars as someone who reads 20. I guess, blame it on my narrow mindedness. But I'm sticking to my thoughts. I'm leaving town today and might be gone two weeks. I will try my best to drop in and read what I can, but there is never enough time when dealing with the demanding. Thanks for sharing another great chapter. :-)

I thought it would be easier now that I am using so many of the same characters...No, I didn't find them and then lost the internet and cell phone tower too. I was told some construction had the signal failing off and on for days before it went completely out so maybe that's when I lost them..not saving. I don't know. But I just channeled that nervous anxiety into writing and here it is. Thanks so much, Beth.
