This poem, The Road We Call Loneliness, is representative of that sorrowful feeling that one is truly alone, and all suffering is felt alone and not witnessed or addressed.

I thought the longer, more languid lines caught the mood of the theme here, very somber, self reflective. The imagery caught my eye too, the long, empty stretches of sea and lonely roads, leading to nowhere, really illustrates the sense of loneliness, of reaching out and grasping...nothing. estory

Great entry for the contest love the last stanza
I wander, disassociated from reality
playing solitaire in this game called life.
Stumbling wildly down the road we call loneliness.

Loneliness can lead to depression, which seems to happen in this well-crafted piece. This is an excellent entry for this Lonely Poem contest. Best of luck and well done.
God bless,
Steve

This is a really good evocative and emotive poem, with a good choice of words and metaphor's, that really encompasses the subject of loneliness.
I had no six stars remaining. Sorry!

This is a real deep dive into the depths of loneliness. I felt the emptiness and lost feeling of nothingness throughout.
Quotes like... disassociated from reality, disjointed, withdrawn all convey so vividly the feelings of being lonely.
Excellent poem, a great entry for the contest
Best of luck

You penned a very creative poem which flow is as smooth as silent waters. I enjoyed reading the work. And I pray that we find company and consolation and never work alone. Well done.
