I find it difficult saying goodbye to these characters. They have become friends as we've helped them sort out the problems in their lives. I definitely enjoyed reading. Thank you for sharing this story with us.

Thanks so much BArbara. Yes, I too became very attached to my characters especially Eleanor and of course Garth and Matthew. Just might have to put them in another story. LOL
Appreciate all the help and support I got on this one.

I believe you should. I still think Garth and Matthew will be great together. I didn't say peaceful, I said great.

LOL Love it!

Well, this is one of those bitter sweet sort of happy endings, but stories needing to touch on outer, inner, and even the deepest emotions, this story gives us a chance to feel and experience all kinds. Thanks for sharing.

From one end of the spectrum to the other...birth, murder, theft, human trafficking and lots of love. My kind of story! Thanks so much again. I kust came in from cutting trees again and collapsed in my chair to see your smiling face.
Thanks for the lift!

Well, it's going to be a long wait for Sunday, my friend!
So sad that Charles is dying, too! Maybe he and Eleanor can finally reunite. It's sad, though, that Jenna can't have time with one of her parents, but life can be that way...
We do find out that Craig was the one who was close to Jenna and able to give reports to Eleanor.
Eagerly awaiting the next,
Hugs,
Rhonda

I hope you enjoy the final chapter. It's a bit sappy for some, but I'm a heart on your sleeve kind of writer. LOL Thanks for sticking with me throughout this story. I appreciate it very much.

Thanks, Beth... I hope to see several of these characters again. I fell in love with them and it's been a fun story. I'll post the final on Sunday and I hope you are satisfied with it.

Ah Carol, it has been a pleasure to read your book! Interesting, different, and well written. Many chapters have been worthy of a six. This one included. It's very moving, very poignant. But exactly how did Doyle kill Eleanor? Why not await her natural demise? Or did he not know she was terminal? And how did she come to suspect him? You may have dealt with these issues - if so, I apologise. The brain isn't always as good as it should be. Thanks for an amazing book. Great work.

It wasn't blantly obvious. He added poison to her sugar bowl tht she used for her tea.... that's why Eleanor knocked it from Jenna's hand when she was about to offer some to Helen. Also, Donatelli yelled at his crew that when they received the autopsy report they hadn't immediately went to Eleanor's house to set it up a a crime scene even though she'd died weeks earlier.
And Eleanor had not shared her illness. But she had discovered the missing painting at the gallery and after arguing with Jackson, she was able to put one and one together.
Hope that helps a little.... Thank you for enjoying my story. I really had fun and connected with my characters. I hated for it to end.

Thank you Carol! Others would have connected the dots better than I did. You have a brilliant mind to manage so many details, and write so prolifically. Well done! Very impressive writing throughout.
-
I might have made the clues too subtle...Not to worry as long as you got the meat of the story. Thanks again.
-
Thank you for the awesome kindness and comments. I am thrilled when people enjoy my efforts.

Sometimes making the clues subtle makes people want to go back and read it again!!

Oh no! Or should I say, YAY!?? He will soon be with Eleanor!! This is a masterpiece, my friend, as with all your writing, you create such emotion, that it's hard not to get involved with your characters. I've loved every chapter, and now I wait until Sunday. (My birthday, what a lovely present!) Well done, my clever, very talented friend. Love you lots! :)) Sandra xxx

Your birthday! How awesome! Couldn't have timed it better for such a very special person! Wish I could be there to give you a big birthday hug! But know that my thoughts, prayers and heart are always with you.
Thank you so much for reading this chapter and for all your kindness.
