This is my favorite stanza.
Is it a myth, the eyes are the windows to the soul? Senryu Suite, looks like a great poem, as always!

Very artistic and well expressed emotions of love and the longing for it to be fulfilled by that special person.
It seems that she once had his love, but now she alludes to it through nostalgia and faithful memories.

This poem is an excellent expression of separation from a loved one, whether it be forced or not. Separation is separation. The emotion is strong as is the wanting. You did a wonderful job with the poem and the presentation.
