Your poem has a really warm and comforting vibe. I appreciate the way you convey your trust and need for guidance. The imagery of being held in Jesus' arms is very tender and relatable. Overall, it's a beautiful and heartfelt expression of your faith and reliance on divine support.

Ideas as I read...

- maybe add a period after "safe place" for consistency.
- Change "harm" to "harms" for consistency.
- Remove the comma before "will be for my best" for clarity.

Hi, Pat

Is the Lord the Father or is God the father. I've always learned that it was God the father and Jesus was the son of God

But, I suppose that Jesus could be looked upon as a second father

I am glad you feel safe and his arms. I do too.

    Thank you so much for your very kind review. God, the father God, the sun and God the Holy Spirit are three and one so it is interchangeable how we use the terms.

Just was writing to roy owens on a similar matter. No matter how dark things seem, God grants us exactly what we need and has planned a wonderful life for us.

This heartfelt prayer is beautifully written. The rhyme seems so natural and unforced as if the words just came to you without effort.

    Thank you so much for your kind review. I appreciate it. Yes the rhyme scheme does come to me naturally and it cannot rhyme without it sounding natural. I do not use rhyme. Many times I will choose to do free verse instead.

    Thank you so much for your kind review. I was actually composing this in my mind this morning as I was doing my half a mile walk. And then I just sat down and started writing it.
