Woohoo! I'm all for Eleanor getting involved this way. I think a lot of crooked judges should have this kind of encounter. It seems he's quite incorrigible!

Eleanor gets invovled (involved)
He's misguided (Open quotes needed)

I'm loving Eleanor and I am so pleased that others are too. She's fun to write because she can do just about anything she wants...and no one is going to say it was a ghost. Thanks as always....

I can tell you are having one neck of a good time with Eleanor's mischievous spirit! That woman twisted Judge Doyle into knots!

Trevor is being railroaded...or he WAS, until the Judge had a. "spiritual" awakening!

Megan? He's going for Megan? Yikes.
He might be a ghost soon, too!

I'm loving this!

Nothing like trying to review with covid brain fog. Or-- as my children are quick to point out, maybe it's just "My normal state" --LOL

Nice kids! Gues what...I got a call from my daughter today. She wanted to know if I was still alive. We've been having big rain storms, one right after another...ex[ecting another tonight. The river is up in my back yard, but nothing I haven't seen before. In other places, peoples cars have been washed away in the flash floods. I told her I would call her if I wasn't alive anymore. LOL

I hope you are feeling a little better. Take care of yourself.

Nice of her to check in to be sure you're alive! (She said with a bit of sarcasm)

How much nicer if she'd keep in touch on a regular basis!

    Kids today...

Nice chapter and nicely played, I hope that corrupt judge goes behind bars and stop given unjust sentences. Thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings.

Wow! This has the crooked judge on the hot seat, and he is determined to get rid of his mistress by having her daughter abducted and (killed?) Eleanor steps in to scare the judge and does a good job of it. Trevor doesn't even have a gun, does he?

Trevor is a lot of hot air...he's not made to be a bad buy but circumstances tend to put him in that spot. And Eleanor...she's hot on the Judge;s trail.

I'll be adding this to my bookcase shortly. Here though: "Mr. Dawon, how does your client plead?". Did you mean Dawson? Best wishes and happy writing. Thanks for sharing!

Your writing continues to share complex characters with exciting plot twists. I continue to be on the edge of my seat from start to finish. The tension between Judge Doyle and Trevor is so well written. I could feel it! The dialogue is sharp and realistic. This chapter left me eagerly anticipating what will happen next!

Hi, Carol

I really like this series. I think Elizabeth's going to find a way to prevent Judge Doyle or his minions from hurting Megan or Margaret.

Trevor is charged with committing a murder for which he is innocent. He also has the drug trafficking charge, which is something that he also didn't do. He had simple possession. That has much less of a sentence Maybe he'd just get rehab and probation

Here should be possessive ball's

" Trevor laughed. "Balls in Doyle's court. He's got "

I enjoyed reading your story in the book chapter

Good job. Thank you for sure.
