Oh, but every chapter is getting better and better! I'm sorry to know Allie is dead. I trust we'll get more on that as you wow us with your writing. LOVE the scenes where the Judge is clearly implicated in the "duplicate" painting switcheroo. Also of note-- it seems Eleanor knows she was murdered but does NOT know who the culprit(s) are... as per what she said to Trevor. I think Trevor is in a bad way and dope sick... I'm guessing he was not part of the murder!

Garth (my favorite, in case you haven't picked up on that) has things well in hand and I think Donatelli will come around.

This is awesome... the whole chapter, and I'm in awe of the way your mind works!

I posted the next chapter...which for me is one of the best with the confrontation... love the fireworks! LOL Yes, between our lovely Eleanor doing her thing and Garth doing his, the story is growing with leaps and bounds. I forget I have a time limit... We shall see!

So Alli has died. Not at all good. We don't know who the other guy is, yet. I have a feeling we will. I am really liking this story better and better all the time. Another great write.

Thanks, Barbara. I hated to serve a death sentence on Allie, but I needed a conflict between Donatelli and Garth and one that really hit home to our Cowboy. It's what I came up with.... Someone asked me if I was going to resurrect her and have her appear as a ghost too. Nope!

Trevor is really in a bad way. If he thinks the judge will help him, he really does need that fix! Even his dead aunt can't convince him he's making a mistake. That shook him up, though. Now the judge has got the copy of that art piece that he's going to pass off as the real thing, and hopes Jackson will be so pleased to get it back, he won't notice it's a fake. HAHA!! The problem is, he is probably right. Garth really was confused when he realised that Donatelli didn't seem to know Allie was dead. And we have Eleanor's ghost having fun, while she tries to find out who murdered her. Another fabulous chapter, my dear friend. Love and hugs, from Me!! xxxx

It's rolling along. I'm at 17,000 words already..so hitting 30,000 doesn't scare me. What does is making myself wrap up the story in time. I get carried away with all the angles and stuff that's going on. Thanks so much Sandra for the review and for enjoying another chapter.

Hi, Carol

I hope I can save this review. There have been many that I can't save.

So, now we have another death in Allie. I wonder if she'll become a ghost too

It sounds like a judge is going to kill anybody that gets in the way

Which might mean the niece of Eleanor. Or the cops. Eleanor knows what's happened to the painting and who killed her.

I don't think it was Trevor. It was her nephew. I just think she was trying to help Trevor with the conversation she had with him at the jail.

Here ones without the apostrophe

" including one's belonging to Eleanor's former lover, Charles "

Here. I think you mean parking spot

Also, what is a pick up pit?

" I'm on it." Tango maneuvered the pickup pit of the tight park spot "

Here. I think 'like' is preferable to 'that'

" . Looked to me that he had the painting."

I enjoyed reading your book chapter

Good job. Thank you for sharing.

Pam...You are awesome for pointing out my typos. I believe they are corrected. My eyes are getting blurry from writing 2 chapters and reading reviews. I greatly appreciate you comments, support and review and of course, the lovely stars. I hope the added summary at the beginning of the chapter helped you better undertand what is happening. Thank you again. I always appreciate your great support.
