oh my gosh, this poem just took me to a happy place. What a great entry for the poem for a Child contest. It also teaches a lesson to the older ones in the crowd. Don't be afraid to be spontaneous. Don't be so quick to say no. You never know what you might miss out on! Good luck in the contest.

I was wondering, after reading your great comments, if, in reality, I would've done that, and I probably would've IF there'd been somebody there to pull me up. (somebody strong! :)
And I agree with you, If you can't do some crazy things with your grandchild, 1. you're not much of a grandmother, and 2. like you said, you'd miss out on so much.

This is a fun poem which a child would enjoy. Bubble baths are a lot of fun for kids, and apparently grandmas, too--though I can relate to difficulties getting back out once you're in! Nice rhyme and meter and a great photo to illustrate. Nicely done!

Thank you! The few times I have fallen, I have had to get on hands and (poor) knees and crawl to something sturdy to hang on to and pull myself up. Otherwise, I probably would've gotten in there with a grandchild.
