Thank you for this very well constructed and written post.
'Love God with all your heart and your neighbor as yourself.' Post that on school walls if you must push religion onto public school students.
The scriptures are replete with references to life being in the breath and also in the blood. Not at conception.

A clever and witty letter, comparing the Bible to a manual of "rules for living", and it is easy to see why and how so many groups form, all of whom consider themselves to be the correct interpreters of His manual and/or its "updates". Some of your points eg 3a may ruffle some feathers, but perhaps they have overlooked this section of the manual. Best wishes for your entry in the contest.

Indeed we are all in need of help! But as you have quoted both from the Old and New Testament, and focused on Love, I think that's where the answer lies. Love moved God to redeem all humanity (His "customers") as no one of them could fully fulfill the Law. So the "update" came in the form of Jesus.
Enjoyed your unique style for this contest entry. You addressed the problems we have had when some have mistaken a radical patriotism and cultic following of a certain political figure for faith in God. Keep the faith in the real God and keep praying.

This is quite an entertaining post and seems to be written from a liberal standpoint. I agree with you all the issues you document. Do you know that there are still 60+ children who have not been reunited with their parents? And it's because the trump administration did not track their parents were
