Oh Good Gravy Marie! You must be so frustrated with Advanced Editor and these spacing errors!
I've had four people contact me today stating their formatting went haywire for no reason!
All due respect to Tom--but the problem is NOT yours alone, nor limited to your computer.
There is a glitch somewhere. I had hoped the multiple "Under Maintenance" messages meant this was being corrected.
Last night I tried to submit my review of your chapter two and the "system" would not let me!
I could submit reviews everywhere else, but yours?
I got a message I was "unable to post the review--please try again."
Fifteen times!
As you know, I PMd you most of my review.
When it got short enough I could finally submit it.
I notified Tom and asked if a review could be too long to submit?
He said he'd never heard of that.
I dunno!
It isn't fun to spend money promoting your work and then have these massive gaps and spaces between paragraphs!
Maybe you will need to retype it in, line by line?
That worked for me once.
Okay then!
On to the content!
The premise is so inspired! To get something they'll each have to work at something that relates to a character flaw!
Clever Eleanor!
Your description of her "ghostly" antics is so much fun!
Hmmm.
Now who killed her?
And why?
Jackson seemed a bit skittish!
Too soon, I know, to tell!
Sorry the formatting is acting up.
Believe me I was able to scroll down and pick up the next lines without it disturbing my enjoyment.
You need a glass of wine!

I've tried, retyping, using word, using google docs, erasing the whole thing and typing again. Nothing is working. It looks fine when I post it and then I save and bingo! We are right back where we started. Got that maintenance thing twice yesterday, I need more than one glass of wine!!!
Everyone is complaining and I am afraid they will stop reading if I can't get it fixed. I'll try Tom again but that's probably a waste of time.

Actually it was Beth who gets the credit. she said she had to take all the white spaces out of hers. save it and then put the paragraphs in again. It was a pain but it worked. Had to do it with today's post too. Now I am writing again, trying to catch up, and I still have to read to get at least $10 to post. What have I gotten myself into? LOL I'm going to find that wine yet!!!

I'm glad someone could help you figure it out. Did you put the wine on ice to chill? You may need it if you have more formatting issues! :)

This is so much fun. No wonder Eleanor was dancing around. She is determined to turn her family into nice people with good causes. They are all going to have to grow up. I wonder if Eleanor knows who killed her.

Hmmm... I am guessing she might have ideas but doesn't really know who it is or else she would probably tell Jenna. Either that or she is having so much fun upsetting the apple cart at the moment that it doesn't matter to her. We shall see.

This is really good but it is irritating having to chase the paragraphs down to read them. I saw another story the same way so it is something screwed up at this site. I hope it can be fixed soon. We see if these characters can earn the money they hope to get.

It is more than irritating. I have spent my whole day rewriting, reposting and trying to fix it and then it returns to the way it was. Instead of writing I am messing with the site.
I too hope it gets fixed soon.

I figured out how to fix it, but it is aggrivating. Take all of the spaces out. Don't even leave one and and then you click to view it there will be one space between paragraphs. I was surprised.

Hooray for Eleanor for setting up tasks that could really change her family members if they did them. The gallery folks seem suspicious. I don't know what happened with the spacing here. If you had done a Cntrl-V to paste into FS, you might want to try doing a SHIFT-CTRL-V so that it doesn't carry over formatting from another software. It does mean you have to add blank lines while in FS editor.

I have been trying to change it for the last hour. I go in and change and then save. It looks okay and then seconds later it is back to where it was. I'm going to try and remove it altogether, fic and then post. Sorry for the mess.

I've been fighting with it forever lately. It's like it gives me one and a half, double, or single whenever I make a correction. the lines change. I don't know how to correct it or get it to stop. Sandra and Karen mentioned it, but when I asked Tom because I also get messages that say the system is under maintenance and try again, I was told it's my computer. I'm sorry, but I'll try again.
