A wonderful chapter, Carol!! They certainly did not expect her to request an autopsy, and that has thrown the cat among the pigeons. Yet, the disgruntled family members won't be the guilty ones - or the book would be finished in five chapters!! The black car circling is intriguing. Looking forward to seeing the tasks! An excellent hook at the end, Yes, we'll all keep reading!

Smile..

Oh joy! A spunky spirit determined to have her way with her snarky (murderous?) family!

A spirit after my own heart!

Should I have a crush on the detective already?

(I feel like I'm being disloyal to Garth)

And that curious car casing the place!
Gangsters coming?

You are SO good at sketching out these characters so succinctly!

A few things for your consideration sent via PM.

I'm hopelessly addicted!

Maybe I'll send Garth along and you can have a word or two with him. Several people have already taken notice of Matthew Donateli though. What choices, huh?

What's a story without a few Italian gangsters... I guess the life style left an impression on me. LOL

I hope you enjoy the story and always...always....stay addicted to our friendship.

Well, that was a fun revelation - expected by the reader but not by the characters - especially the relatives of Eleanor. She was one smart lady and knew that she could be killed so had an interesting plan in case she died.

Yes, Eleanor was a smart cookie and sadly neglected by her family. She hopes to teach them a few things about life and maybe straighten their lives out... which I don't know if that is possible.

Okay, you have me completely hooked and anxiously awaiting the next chapter. I can't wait to learn what tasks Elenor has given those so-called relatives of hers.

Good morning, April... That dysfunctional family won't like Eleanor but then I don't even think they knew her. She has lessons in store for all of them and I imagine a few pranks as well.

This is interesting. Maybe I should update my will and put my kids through some loops. lol I wonder if her tasks are designed to reform these people or if that is even possible. I also wonder if the ghost of Eleanor old lover C.J. is going to show up and what about the the child she gave up for adoption? Cool story with many secrets to be revealed.

Many secrets and troubles everywhere. Hopefully as the story unravels, Eleanor will help them find the better side of themselves. One never knows.... or is it even possible?

Oh, what fun! I hope I can come back as a ghost. Though I've got no one to torment. I can't wait to hear what the will says, you deliberately ended there, didn't you? What a terrible family! Serves them right for not getting anything that quick, they have to work for it. I wonder if Eleanor gave them a finacial reward if they complete whatever task it is she sets them. This is going to be fun. Well done again, dear friend. :) Sandra xxx

Hi, Sandra... Wouldn't that be fun? I would love to haunt my family and visit friends I never got to meet.... Travel would be cheap! I hope you enjoy the story.

I wrote a detailed review with some corrections and lost it. I already have a crush on Matthew Donatelli. Can't wait to hear what these tasks are.

Matthew squeezed Megan's hand and flashed his million-dollar smile. "As much as I would enjoy sitting beside you, duty requires me to stand in the back."
Megan's ruby-red, lacquered lips formed a sexy pout as the detective moved to the far side of the room. (a line space is needed between 'back." and Megan's)

Thanks as always, Barbara. Put that space right back where it belonged!

Hope you enjoy this one as much as the last. I've already had a few mention our Detective. LOL

This work has reached the exceptional level

This is wonderful but has small grammar and editing issues that need to be addressed but other than that the work is wonderful and really descriptive and I love that as it really paints a picture in my mind. Great work and thanks for sharing.

Thank you, Lindsey. You missed the first chapter that I posted earlier this morning. It has more money on it. I am thrilled by the six and you've put a big smile on my face. Aweso,e! I hope you will continue to follow the story. Please try to catch the first chapter because it gives quite a lot of information that you'll want to know as the story progresses.
    Thanks again...Smiles, Carol
