This is a excellent spitirual poem. Like a fower dying without water we to will wither and die from lack of the water of life that comes from God. If we cry out to him he will always be there to meet out needs.

This was such a lovely and moving poem! I took it at face value at the beginning, but then you introduced me to the true meaning. I was moved. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.

Our lives are often like that little rosebud that has no stem to hold it wrecked. Our lives we have to have the Lord Jesus Christ to hold us up or we would all fail and like that rosebud. Patricia.

You've done a nice job with this poem. I liked the comparison between a dying plant waiting for a rain shower to to a person drying up spiritually and needing the Living Waters of God. Well-written.

Hello, Verna,
God supplies what we need and your metaphor about dry flower and rain is perfect.
Good rhyme and meter scheme.

I love your poem, Verna dear. It's true, were much like the flowers in the garden and we desperately need the living water of Jesus Christ. A wonderful poem to begin my day. Sending you my best today as always and blessings abundant in our Lord Jesus Christ.
