Smiling here. We mere humans often do not know what we truly need, God does -- and he provides it even if we are raging about unanswered prayers!
John 3:1
"See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him."
Bless you!

Your wisdom both spiritual and worldly is highly praiseworthy. This is why communicating with you is both enlightening and totally, and enjoyably educational.

The feeling is reciprocated!

God's love is like a good parent's love, love all children the same, good or bad.
A wonderful poem and presentation.
Well done!

I absolutely love this poem and it was a wonderful way of looking at both sides of it. I am so proud of the wonderful way you too look on the bright side. May we always have that attitude. And may you always see the fact that the good will overcome the bad in the world. This is very well rhymed as well as I see a great meter. And most importantly, my dear brother, it is where I was where I was looking at that bright side too. Great job, my BBBBBBBBBB. I will tell you later what the rest of them mean. LOL.., love, Debi

Yes, we need the ups and downs in our lives to keep things normal. Not sure that's the right word, but all I can come up with now, maybe it's grounded. Anyway, I really enjoyed your very wise poem. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Norman,
This is a good mix of poetry and prose. The poem uses internal rhyme well to show the positive and negative sides of rain.
Keep writing and stay healthy.
Have a nice rest of the day.

Never have truer words ever been written and/or spoken...We need both
to survive...Without a certain amount of either one, mother nature along with her caretakers (humanity) cannot support the other...In the grand theme of all things, the omnipotent has "...Sent from above, a measure of
God's love." Well done!

I think it's in Matthew that we read that the sun will shine and the rain will fall on the just and the unjust.
As your notes so clearly stated, God gives to even those who do not believe He exists.
Well done.
Blessings

Absolutely, and yes you are correct the scripture is found at Matthew chapter 5:43-45. my poem was inspired by that particular scripture.

Great message.

First, your notes -- yes indeed, God IS love -- He can do no else, praise His mighty name!
Your poem is sublime -- I can honestly say I don't think I have read internal rhyme sweeter than this!
