With great power, comes greater responsibility. It's a shame Dotie didn't realize this when she transformed. Her grandmother made her own husband understand what could happen if he didn't change into a loving man, but granddaughter cut to the chase. I liked the fact that she could hear Riley in the next room. Made me wonder if she would react to his mental push or keep up her grieving facade. Another great chapter. Gretchen

She looked around for Officer Carey. A familiar voice behind her made Dodie Rae turn and see Officer Carey. Immediately, they locked eyes.
"Are you okay?" the policeman asked.

It's the same content but a little less redundant. Of course you can ignore this if you like the way it is. I very much enjoy this book. Thank you for sharing.

A great little story, I think Richard got his, and from the offended person, you could turn Dodie Ray as an avenger of the abused, in a sequel, the only thing she would she shouldn't be noticed, otherwise it could spark a connection of suspicion with her, well done, blessings Roy
