I think this was a great poem for a child! It was fun to read the descriptions of the animals and to "guess who." I liked your rhymes, as well. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.

Terrific! As I was joyfully reading along I could imagine your poem with illustrations and how much a young child would enjoy seeing the pictures as someone read along...and soon they would be reading it too. Great poem!

This is an excellent entry for the Poem for a Child contest. I think that children would love this poem. You put it at their level without making it sound dumbed down, which isnt always an easy task. Good luck in the contest.

I believe that your poem will go over very well with the preschool to second or third grade aged kids group helping them to associate animals to the sounds they make. Thanks for Sharing your childrens poem and Good Luck with this one in the contest

This is a marvelous little poem that a child would enjoy hearing and answering the questions as to the name of the animal. As a parent or grandparent it's important to find different and unique ways to capture the interest and create a thirst for knowledge for our little ones. I think you've struck a home run with this one. You just cleared the bases. lol

This looks like a good entry for the contest. Good luck with that!!
This is charming and delightful, and would definitely entertain a child. I've seen lots of entries to this contest, and a lot of them are adults speaking to adults and a child would not be interested or would not understand.
So you brought yourself down to the level of a child. I would say about a five-year-old child But, the child could be younger.
In case I get some brownie points or a gold star, I passed the test
This sounds like it should be a new children's book where this is one of the pages

Thank you so very much for reading and reviewing my poem. I use to write little stories and poems to my granddaughter when she was younger but now she's 11 and I am having to reinvent myself because she's an entirely different person now. Lol
I have a children's book already in mind. I just recently got back into writing because I do love it. Good luck in the contest as well, if you've entered and I sincerely hope you have a blessed day.
