You inspired someone else to be a fashionista, too. I remember when I was in elementary school. We always noticed what our teachers wore. Did they follow the latest fashion in hemlines, etc.? The girl who put the dress on over her leotard was the same girl who was having the baby! I had written in my inscription in the front of the book I bestowed that there were two vignettes about her, and she took the initiative to read them aloud to everyone present.

Ah for the memories. I can recall Bb Hope opening song and how sincere he was. Friends from the past, pre-teen through adolescent hood stand out far more than adult friendship made after flying from the coop. As for teachers, the students taught endeared themselves deeper than they will remember.

On Saturday you sew all of this up, find the perfect box, and get it ready for the party on Sunday. After the grand event - in which you also starred - you had time to write a story about the event that included this line: At that point, it was not the hats and tutu and quilt, but our fellow party-goers who were in STITCHES. Tell me, do you have a Wonder Woman costume (sewn by you, of course) that you wear while out shopping for the perfect gifts?
I'm so glad you enjoyed being reunited with your former student, and I'm betting you get photos of the little month each and every month of the year for as long as those little hats fit. Then, donning the WW suit, you will proceed to sew 12 more:-)
