Oh Wendy I absolutely love this. I honestly felt like you were writing about me, every word besides the last part lol! I'm just writing since January and joined fan story a couple months back and i feel like im spending moat of my free time on here, I love to write poems and I enter contest and see the competition and think, oh well then. There are a lot of professionals on here as you say with bizarre techniques and words sublime. I think I've definitely learned a lot kore than what i knew!
I love your technique your meter, your rhyme it's brilliant. You are far from having a rusty blob for a brain. This made me laugh out loud because of the term, I would often say my rusty brain! Well done thanks for sharing this x

great poem. I can relate I don't do meter poems very well. For some reason just can't hear the meter right. but it can be fun to try it but all too often my meter comes out just lame, rhyming is okay but I am more of a free verse kind of poet, although I do Haiku well.
