Hmmm, makes you stop and think, right? Do you still live in Changi, or was that a temporary living spot? I understand the POP aspect. It will forever rest in that anxiety laden area in the back of our minds, situated right beside the books we've read like King Rat. By the way, that was pretty heavy reading for a 10 year old. Nice post, Bruce.

Some books will do that to you. I still am haunted a few. I like that your flash was true. A real place with a dubious past, now a thriving metropolis, but could there be some past secrets still in use to day. Really enjoyable read. Gretchen
