I thought this was well written. You do a wonderful job of sharing the abusive relationship that you lived through. I like how you show us what happened instead of telling us. With that, we live it with you and I feel terrible that you had to experience that. I could feel the blows and more so the hurt you felt inside. Your ability though to take a moment in time and bring it alive for us is commendable.

I think they might call that child abuse, a parent losing their temper like that could have led to a serious injury, I can remember getting a beating by my enraged mother mother, but nothing like you got, thanks for sharing, I was a grown man in 1968, beautifully written, blessings Roy
