I 'll bet you get invited to a lot of cookouts. Your neighbors are lucky to have a man around with such great cooking skills. I love the way you and your wife carry on. It is wonderful when too people are compatible and happy after many years of marriage.

Easy to make? That's what you call easy to make, lol? The ingredient list alone wore me out.
Yes, pina coladas will make you late to anything:-)
Thanks for sharing another great recipe, John.
The party you're hosting for your son's best friend and family - will Todd be invited?
xo

I like how this was light-hearted and fun. I can totally see this happening and even being part of something similar myself. The fact that it's relatable to huge plus.
"I was thinking something light, something refreshing it's so darn hot outside. Maybe those Hawaiian chicken skewers?"
Awesome choice here!

Make at work?? Are you a chef? It's a beauty. Reminds me of the hats Carmen Miranda would have worn. How did the b-b-q go, if you went at all, and what did Todd shoot at the club?

Not a chef. A retired accountant who works at a deli making the catering platters of all kinds. Carmen Miranda had done some wild hats back in the day.
Thanks Tom.

Another delicious menu for the BBQ here John and I liked that you included a warning about the sauce too, very wise! Warm days lend themselves to eating outdoors and I enjoyed your uplifting post. I have never seen meat and fruit mixed together like this in your picture, it looks colourful and appetising, a delightful post, love Dolly x x x

They say one eats with the eyes first so presentation is very important. That looks amazing, and I am sure it would taste just as good! So, are you a professional chef?
I might give this a go in summer!

A pinch on the tush and late for the party. All I needed to know. Good bye. NOT.
However,, you do know how to entertain and make me laugh. Did I mention I can't laugh. Two cracked ribs and banged up new knee when I tried to fly thru the garage on the cement. So it hurts to laugh. OUCH!
Anyway, about the most enjoyable party I have been to in a long time. This was awesome starting with the morning mow and all the way too late for the party.
You are such the entertainer. But you did have me smiling and trying not to laugh, but that was truly difficult because you are such a class act comedian. Your food even tastes better when you throw in the show to go with it.
Awesome job my friend and sweet bro. I love the interaction with the missus. After all she is pretty awesome too. You both are a great act together. BRAVO!!
Love, Debi

Yum, man, now I want a skewer!
This story (fiction or based on life?) is pure fun with the characters shining through. I needs a bit of proofing, though.
in my sons adaptation for me)
in my son's
he knowse what I like
knows
Hey, Deb's.
Hey, Debs.
Also, if you plan on publishing/selling stories, you need formal permission to use song lyrics unless they're old enough to be in the public domain and man, that's OLD.
To much Todd
