I agree with Heddy, however, it is still wrong, and she needs to feel the guilt, and God can deal with that. But I must admit Mrs Collette needs a heart curette heh heh. The cleanup after a hurricane must be horrific. Beautifully written Gretchen, blessings Roy

    The good thing about a small community is neighbors help neighbors. Cleanup can be stressful. But usually the days following a hurricane are absolutely beautiful. Gretchen

Heddy is as strong-minded and genuine as ever. And the whole scene is a poignant, insular one created by the harsh weather outside and focusing on the emotions of the people within as they try to digest and deal with the sad news. Beautifully written as ever, Gretchen. Thanks for sharing Debbie

I agree an honest heart is a good thing to pray about. I really like this story. Thank you for sharing it with us. The characters come to life and are real. I like that.
