This was such a sweet entry to the "special delivery" writing prompt! I bought my grandmother a digital picture frame before she died, and she treasured it. It wasn't as fancy as yours, though - it wasn't synced with the cloud. Thank you for sharing this, and best wishes to you.

An excellent entry for the Special Delivery writing prompt. Your son was so thoughtful to get that for you. I got the same thing for my 96 year old mother who still alone in her own house. The lock-down was hard on her even though she was used to being along a good portion of the time. She loved getting new pictures from family members around the United States and even from Denmark. It's a lovely way to keep in touch. thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much. Yes, I was feeling a bit alone and unneeded, but this gift (breaking Covid rules to get it to me) made me aware that they were all still thinking of me - and even today I love seeing the most up-to-date photos even though I see everyone fairly regularly.
