A clever comparison to a movie I remember from a very long time ago! In 2016, I did not want to vote for either candidate. I intensely disliked both. Then someone reminded me that it wasn't just about that single name. That winner would be choosing a number of Supreme Court justices. And the fallout for that choice will last for much longer than the president's 4-year term. So I held my nose and voted.

Nowadays it doesn't. I was still naively thinking our checks and balances were functioning.

I'm so tempted to write in "None of the Above" but that would mean throwing away my vote. And that whole electoral vote thing seems rather unfair in some places. Oh well. We just keep praying. Perhaps God will still give us another candidate at the 11th hour. Best wishes in the contest!
