I agree. Politicians were meant to be public servants, working hard for the people. They need to respect the people and be accountable to them. I do not see this, in general, in the US. Best wishes for the contest.

Isn't that the truth! And so well-said, although not a view that many remember -- more often, politicians are either revered or vilified. That kind of thinking contributes to corruption, in my opinion.
