The sweetest of verses as you try to understand the amazing brain of an autistic child. I've no doubt that your sensitive and compassionate approach will break down many barriers for him. So many people are fascinating, when one gets to know them, we think we do, but children are people too, and as you say, unique and different, as God made us to be, we aren't an accident, even the result of a torrid night between two underage teens, they were made to fit in families. I think this is a unique approach to the competition you have written about a child. That is not to say that it is not for children to read I would say your poem would be a fantastic learning opportunity for for older children. I think it is wonderful, best of luck.

Thanks for the review! I mean, by them saying to write a poem for a child leaves it up to interpretation. I wrote this for this gifted autistic child who would be able to read this with ease. I?m sure they meant a funny, silly poem that kids would love, but I thought I would give it a shot anyway!
