This is a fun verse for a child which I enjoyed too! Their names are great and the adventure they have is just right and not too scary for young children. I like the "knocking knees" and the personification of these two pups. Well done and good luck in the contest! Debbie

This is an excellent work, with great flow rhyming and more than that a good solid story, and a youthful theme that would appeal to the young, I enjoyed it and I think I'm a senior child, but it appealed to my inner child, well done good luck, blessings Roy

Adorable. I love children's poems. This may have been easier to read if the individual stanzas were single spaced with double space between them--but that does not detract from the quality of the write.
Nice job with this clever slant rhyme:
"Lou came abounding
with a glittering army
that circled around him."
I think it works great!
