This is a wonderful addition to the story. I like the family interplay of all those very exceptional characters. The dialogue feels real and stays interesting as it is moving things along. I always look forward to reading the next chapter. :-)

Hi Rhonda, again you've written a great continuation to the story. I love the banter between the two but there is a certain undertone of seriousness behind it all. Can't wait to be reading on. Hugs, Ulla xcx

I dearly love Echo and Theo, but I really like Hemes too. He's fun in an interesting special way. Of course, the story is wonderful. I'm already out of sixes, sorry.

    Hi Barbara,
Thank you for the lovely review, and I'll take the virtual six. It's so hard to find a fair way to distribute them. But, for you to remark that it's worthy of one, is enough for me.

This chapter was most entertaining. I love the part about his fourteen-foot wing span. Your story is exciting and fun to read. I look forward to the next addition.

Hi, thank you so much for saying it's entertaining. I try to lesson some of the seriousness with comic relief, and Hermes fits both bills. Couldn't help his brag, lol.

Rhonda dear, Another fabulous chapter, my talented friend. I so enjoyed the family dynamic between Theo and Hermnes. The flirting ruffled Theo a bit but I would be worried if he didn't get a little riled. Apparently, love and devotion runs deep in Concorde Valley. Beautifully written and illustrated as always.

Sending you my very best, and love and blessings across the bridge.

    Dear Sally,
Thank you so much for the six stars and for the lovely review, my friend. Hermes is a bit of a flirt, but often to disarm more than anything. Yes, Theo takes it to a point, but beyond that, he's going to rebel, lol.
Love and devotion truly does run deep.
    Much love across the bridge,
    Rhonda

Terrific job! I especially enjoyed the banter between theoo and Hermes. The messenger warrior appears to be a mixture of formidable warrior and child-like God. I hope he can smooth over his "troubles" with Appollo and bring him back to help.
Well written and enjoyable to read. Good luck!
Smiles, Carol

    Hi Carol,
Thank you for your time and attention on the chapter. You are quite intuitive on the roles of Hermes. Apollo is his brother, surely he can't hold a grudge forever.

    Take care,

This is another entertaining and exceptional chapter carried by some excellent dialogue and a satisfying pace of plot. The characters and relationships are becoming ever more developed and we get a real sense of Hermes' engaging and boy-like personality - "Why does everyone always assume I'm up to no good." By the way, I don't think he's mentioned in your list of characters. Small edits: Para starting "You don't strike me..." -(deliver); "and you put a (sprig?) of them right here." "She already (knew) there was much he couldn't discuss." Wonderful visual too! Well done, Rhonda! Debbie

Debbie, thank you ever so much for the six stars and helpful review. Hermes will return and you see the mixture of warrior and child.
Thank you, again. I?ll work on the correction!

I liked all the banter and I had to google what in the world Hermes did to Apollo - something about stealing 50 cows?
Anyway, I liked how you played the emotions and how Theo is protective of Echo (and his sister!). He probably is right to be cautious about Hermes. I enjoyed the interaction between the characters and especially the reminiscing that Theo and Echo did. Yes, it may be a challenge when things are normal to be together. Lol.

    Hi Helen,
Thank you for the six stars and comments. I'll admit I embellished the offense with Apollo and Hermes. He's a bit scared of his brother, but more he just doesn't want to go to the outside world.

    Take care, my friend,
    Rhonda
