I still think she is impossibly naive and appears to have a death wish. It's a wonder she can dress herself. You do write well sweetheart, but she is dim.
You write so well in fact, you get me all stirred up. I want hit her with a newspaper on the top of her head and tell her to wake up. I will keep reading dear.

Sami is dealing with a lot of guilt. She feels she's responsoable for Myra being kidnapped because she didn't get there in time. Humans do strange things over guilt. Thank you for the kind review.

Somehow I missed your previous post.So I read both together .Sammy is too independent and hence she had to get caught in the net and Noah had to rescue her again. But she still is angry with him .This is different from the other novels of yours and I am really enjoying readin g this.

Sami is not going to forgive Noah any time soon, but she should try to see what happened from his POV. She got herself into a very dangerous situation and had no idea how dangerous it was. Sadly, she knows about as much about the girls kidnapped from the recreation center as Noah, and that isn't much.

Your story is suspenseful. Human trafficking is a terrible topic to write about but like they say someone must write about it. There have been 27.6 million people who have been victims of this crime. No one wants to become a victim.

I like your new story and the characters are growing on me. (*÷*)

Sami is acting like a little brat but if I put myself in her shoes I understand.

It sounds like Noah saved her from a dangerous situation. It wasn't very smart on semi's part but she was following her heart.

I noticed the biblical names... Noah and Joshua.

Well done

Excellent writing, Barbara. I really like how you're revealing more about your character's, but I think it'll be a while before Sami can trust Noah. I can see his desire to protect her, but I'm not sure she quite sees that yet. An excellent piece. I enjoyed reading it.

Many Blessings on the Wednesday plan! I couldn't do that and I'm not even finished with Chapter 3 yet! This novel is really the type of writing that stirs you along, and I feel I'm in for a wild ride. I hope Noah is on the up and up, but I guess you'll have to show me. Keep up the great caliber of writing!

I'm really enjoying this story, and I'm not talking about the subject matter, but the job you're doing of writing it. Thanks for sharing. Wish I had a six to reward it properly.
