You keep the Olympians fresh and interesting. Apollo resigning? He was the god of so many things even the Greeks couldn't keep count. I am interested to see how Theo defeats Hades and how Echo helps. I love that Hermes is available to help. Having a messenger that can get through any line is a plus.

Apollo hasn't resigned, lol, but they think he has.
Thanks for the beautiful 6 star rating, and for the comments. You help me make the characters come to life.
Hugs,
Rhonda

I thought they hoped the battle wouldn't be in Concorde Valley. Well, it should be interesting to see how the battle will go. Theo has a lot on the line if succeeding in this battle will make him one of the main gods. I hope that death isn't what happens if he loses.

Hi Carol. You're right, they did hope it wouldn't be there, but were prepared for it to come. In the history of the valley, there had been another epic battle there within the recent history, so, they knew how and when to fight. Theo does have much on the line and will be about getting that sorted out.
Thanks for the review and comments,
Take care,
Rhonda

It's great that Theo does have an idea. But I would imagine that Echo's unique experiences in human life would be one of his strongest assets in this huge undertaking. And it helps that he has a great cousin and powerful big brother!

Hi Helen,
Yes, Echo will have a huge part to play in this battle, but, maybe, not what is expected. He outside worldliness will work to her advantage, as will her attribute that defines her horse name.
Thanks so much for your review and comments, my friend,
Take care,
Rhonda

I love this story. Theo is going to have a huge struggle, but I know Echo is going to by his side and actually give him valuable help. Thank you for sharing this with us.
"Georgios!" She cried out. (she)

Oh, this is getting really exciting! I think Echo has a good point, winning a war doesn't always mean fighting. Wit, confussion, as well as some trickery, can produce far better tools to fight with. I can't wait to read on, Rhonda. Well done! Warmest hugs, Sandra xx

Hi Sandra,
Thank you so much for the six stars and for the supportive review. They are going to have to go to great lengths, and a journey, to get those tools, too.
Thank you, God Bless, and lot of hugs,
Rhonda

This is quite an epic chapter with much going on in another of your excellent chapters, Rhonda. There was always going to be some role for Theo and this is where he proves his mettle and manhood in this battle to defeat Hades. But first he must find Apollo for his advice because this could be fought by unconventional means. Your dialogue, as ever, reads exceptionally well and the pace of your story is pleasing and fast-moving. Third line up - tro(o)ps, otherwise troups are circus performers. But, wow, Rhonda, you know how to entertain your reader and bring the mythical world to earth with panache. Well done! Take care Debbie

Hi Debbie! Thank you so much for the six stars and for the review. You've caught on to the mixture of conventional and nonconventional combat. It's definitely going to be a time for heroism.
Thanks for noticing the troops vs troups. I actually mess that one up a lot, lol.
Hugs,
Rhonda

BRAVO! And the audience stands clapping and cheering for more..... Honestly, Science Fiction would never have been a chosen story for me, but I guess the word Fanatasy roped me in.... or maybe it was one of the Gods. LOL
That being confessed, I must tell you I am enjoy the story very much and am looking forward to following it (or them) into love and war.
Excellent, Rhonda.
Smiles and hugs, Carol

Oh, wow! This is hot and I'm not just talking 'bout Hermes. I see Theo's interest in Echo is one of endearment and as suspected will lead to marriage. Yay! Rooting for that union! All of this is SPECTACULAR, my dear! The tension is building as the military strategy to defeat Hades and rescue the Gods sits squarely on Theo's shoulders. He's already gathered excellent counsel. I'm glued.
Sending you my best today as always, and love and blessings across the bridge.

Hi Sally,
Thank you so very much for the six stars. I know it's very hard to have enough to go around, for sure.
Thank you for the comments. They go far in driving my next post.
Hermes is certainly hot and that works for and against his advantage, lol.
Thank you again
Much, much love,
Rhonda
