This is great. You found a perfectly logical way of explaining how the drugs got in Dion's truck and the coach is sure to make Jackson aware of that. Your story just keeps getting better and better. Only thing I question is Dion chuckling

Excellent! Another fine chapter. Dion seems to be on the mend, and the explanation about the drugs will be helpful. Jason remains as self-focussed as ever, one of those entitled people who can't accept responsibility for the consequences of his own actions. Well written.

Jason will remain focused on football and himself. It's unfortunate because he's missing out on a life and the joys of a family. His loss...might be Dion's gain. Either way, it's made Gabby a stronger person and she will struggle but endure.

It pays to be a busybody. Taylor sees everything and talks about everything. This time, he found a missing piece in Jackson's case. I must say, Carol, you weave a tight web. Your imagination is always on full blast, and I get to enjoy it. This story is riveting.

Thank you, Lorraine. It's magical when out of no where a small incident can change someone's life...Bobby bumping into Taylor saved Dion from prison. Awesome! Thank you for your kindness and thoughts.

It sounds like Dion is the kind of guy Gabby needs in her life. It almost sounds like he likes her a lot. Jason is all about himself. Still knowing he has fathered a child might get to him at some point. It seems there is someone else who say Bobby in Dion's truck. I'm anxious to hear what Aubrey tells Abby. I know she wants it to be Dion's fault. Great writing.

I know Jason is young but like many young people these day they have grown up in the generation of ME ME ME. I don't think he will change or at least not for a long time. My hope is that Gabby makes it on her own or builds a relationship with Dion. As for Audrey...I think she's had time to rethink her priorities.

    Thanks again as always, Beth.

This is very enjoyable. You do a wonderful job with human emotion. That seems to be pretty central to your story and it is greatly enjoyable. As when we are reading I think we like to read about other people. Excellent use of dialogue. This was a fun and enjoyable chapter.
