I've been on FanStory since 2010. His name seems vaguely familiar but since then I've had 2 strokes and a multitude of health issues. If the 1957 Chevy is his it is a solvable age to figure out LOL

No, my friend, the car is just a picture I thought would look nice for the poem. And the fun with his age is something I added in for entertainment value.
I am glad that you are doing better and back.

I understand all too well about the health issues, as mine has been deteriorated and was crippled with no walking for ten years and barely able right now for more than a few steps. Over fifty surgeries and drs call me bionic woman, as I have so many artificial parts, all caused by forty years of lupus damaged kidneys and most of body. The only reason I mention mine is because I have have to keep looking for a bright side which I find in all you friends, and that is how I cope, even with the pain. The fact that you are back shows me you are doing the same. Good for you. We are still here, right?

Debi: Any one reading this knows without a doubt how you feel about...
You paint him as quite popular and laud him for being a stand-up guy.
However, he's does display some vanity/macho about the age thing.
From overall indications we all would want him as a friend. Alliterations: H's, he/has; S's, so/something; T's, try/to, tall/that; W's, while/wishing/
wick, way/we'll and all End Rhymes through out the piece make the write
festive/lively...Maybe after some libations/box wine he'll drop his guard and let his age slip out:) Happy early Birth Day to your friend Ric. teafor2

I am sorry but you got this all wrong. That was just a little joke and in all due respect you must not have read the author's notes.

This was not about vanity. This man does not have a vain bone in his body, and It was about me poking fun and this is just my style of writing, to always try to have fun.
I do this as a thank you for those who review me as I am ill and not allowed to spend enough time reviewing and writing. So I write these to fulfill my dream to write and I have to pay my own way.

But please for me I don't need a play by play of everything I did. Just normal words to tell how you feel would be nice and I mean that most respectfully, my friend. I know of others who feel the same way. Debi

LOL, I would never ask someone their age either, Roy. It's just that he was kinda making it too easy to resist teasing him about it and making it part of his theme for his birthday. He kept telling me, don't ask cause I won't tell, and told me how others ask and he won't tell. His brother says he is like a woman with it. So of course, I had to get it on the fun. Hahaha!
