I have no sixes left this late in the week, but this story deserves at least hundreds of sixes. It's the most tender love story I have read in a really long time. It's perfect!!!!!!!!!
"Sorry about that." He said sheepishly. ('He said sheepishly.' or 'said Alan.' shouldn't be in italics and in a few other areas.)
Dr. Bill he has no one but you and us. (comma after 'Bill' you're addressing him.)

Why didn't you enter the romance contest? I would have voted for it!
Alan though was much more skeptical, - I would parenthetically (if that's a word) separate 'though' with commas.
"What do you mean by that? You mean......" said Alan - maybe it's only me, but by adding 'by that', it's as if he felt insulted.
coupleness. - I like it. we can make any word we want to.
Great work.

Wayne, this is good review and I'm going to made some corrections. And thank you for the six. Just before reading yours, I got a four and it's the first one ever! Again, thanks, Wayne.-Bill
-
A four, huh/
There's just no accounting for people.
-
I didn't enter the contest because it was under the 2000 word minimal
-
ahhhhh
a couple hundredxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx's would not have kept me from votin' for it. (smiley face here)
-
Actually, I appealed but I got no response and so I struck out on my own and I think it's doing pretty well.

Deserving of a six or something greater if it was possible. What a beautiful love story. Even though I was in tears at the end... their love didn't end and they will forever be side by side. Awesome!
Hugs, Carol

What a unique and touching story. I was in tears by the time I came to the end. It's wonderful that they found one another in their last time on this planet. Beyond a doubt, they are together.

Thank you for your review and the six! I sense that not many who view this story will re-view this story and make commentary. It hits too close to home.

Wow, this is one of those few stories that will stick with me forever. So sad, yet a look at true love that we all hope will go on for eternity. Luke 16:19-31, the answer is yes. We will know each other in Heaven.
Thanks for sharing. I wish I had a six to reward this fine story properly.

Ric, your review of this is far more important to me than the six. I've alsready gotten my fair share. To have you on the list of critics is a
six. Thank you.

Thank you so much for your kind words, William. It's a pleasure to read your work and fellowship with the kind heart who wrote it. :-)

What a beautiful story, William. Although sad that they died so young, they died together and are now fulfilling their eternal life together. It brought a tear to my eyes that they died a moment apart. The best Valentine story I've read. Well done. :) Sandra xx

Well, I did the unthinkable. I saved this for the end of my day, and now I'm about to retire for the night with a heavy heart. It's a beautiful, tender, sad, sad story, but you told it well. Not sure, even as an after thought, you should have said, "Happy Valentine's Day".

I dedicated this story to all Fanstorians as my "Valentine's card." But now that you mentioned it (and I too had reservations) I'm going to remove it. Nice call and thank you for the review.

Rhonda, it's reviews like this that leave me speechless. Thank you for the affirmation. I love to write but I have a special resource of story that inspires me to "get it right" everytime. -Bill

I see that perfectionism in your work. I know how much time that takes to get it all ironed out so as to make your writing seem less. It takes time and energy, but it?s working for you, my friend!
