God bless you, fellow cancer sufferer. I just found out, today, there is more to my skin cancer on my head, now getting deeper into the skull and requiring more intensive treatment. Sorry for the diversion but good to refer back to Unwanted Dog days.

This is a delightfully perceptive article about Frost's poem. Your early years more or less taught you to try the road less travelled. It is wonderful that your new father suggested (insisted?) you write about the poem rather than let you go outside to do something you might later regret.

You had me hooked with your first two words. I am a huge fan of Robert Frost. I'm from New England and his poetry always resonated with me. I love how you took those few lines from the poem and weave the story of your life through them. Just wonderfully done.

I've recently returned to FS to once again find myself or maybe it's lose myself between the pages of writing. Your post was filled with research, taught knowledge, and other interesting tidbits of life that made it extremely interesting. I'm glad your are keeping the upper hand at the moment on cancer. I think we all stumble on the correct path, I did by merely obeying a request made by God, although I'd been a Christian for twenty years, mine has been a series of path changes in reaching my present path, but this one enable base camp on the mountain to happen, beautifully written Brett, thanks for sharing, blessings Roy
