Terry, this post with the wonderful photo, are truly the most beautiful tribute to Sarah. I didn't know her and or I get confused. I think April is August and March is May; I have cognitive issues from MS. SO, I squeeze brain cells to write here, and I think I will try harder to know people.
She was a beautiful woman and clearly full of life. From what I've read, here, her Spirit will not die, it will live on in her loved ones and friends.
I will pray for her Soul to rest in God's Love and Light, eternally. x
Excellent writing! Please keep heathy and strong, because people care and need to see you and your writing here !

Terry, this post with the wonderful photo, are truly the most beautiful tribute to Sarah. I didn't know her and or I get confused. I think April is August and March is May; I have cognitive issues from MS. SO, I squeeze brain cells to write here, and I think I will try harder to know people.
She was a beautiful woman and clearly full of life. From what I've read, here, her Spirit will not die, it will live on in her loved ones and friends.

As I'm sitting here reading this, I'm thinking of two things: She was in St. Augustine in December for Nights of Lights; she told me she had rented a home near downtown with her family. She loved this wonderful city. The other thing I'm thinking of is her post telling us she was ill and in hospice. Just like that. She talked as though it was the next natural part of her life, one where she has traveled around the world. "A New Journey" indeed.
Thank you for telling us of your friendship with Sarah. I didn't realize you were neighbors - how cool is that! I suppose you raised a glass of Jack in her memory when you found out.
When I go, I want to go with the same mindset as Sarah's.

It is a lovely tribute to your friend. Some folks come into your life and you would swear they have been your friend forever. They just fit into a place you didn't know was empty. I'm glad to know you do too: " I remarked to the spirit of my deceased wife, "You know, that lady is never going to get that flashlight." interesting that she was titling her new book called a new journey. This is something everyone should read and live. "I asked Sarah, "I don't detect any deep resentment about your ex-husband."
"Oh, I had some at first, but I quickly put it behind me. I didn't want the rest of my life to be consumed with bitterness. I wanted to be surrounded with happiness and good people."

Thank you so much for this loving tribute to Sarah. I have been enjoying her writing about all the places she has been and things she had done, including that game against Doctor Z. She was so full of life and so enthusiastic about living that I loved her writing. She is certainly an entertaining addition to the heavenly host.
