I have given your writing five stars, mostly because you succinctly and grammatically correct wrote about an interesting topic (at least to me) and
I learned somethings I didn't know before I read your post.
That said, I am not sure how this relates to the larger book (?) you are writing. So difficult to post pieces of larger work unless you start from Chapter 1 and follow the writing as it goes forward.

Wow!! Dik Browne was an amazing man with many accomplishments. Most of the advertising logos you mentioned I remember, but I'm really not that old. His son was equally as talented. Thank you for sharing them with us.
