I'm glad it all worked out so well.
Too bad for the pet store. Sound like had they only one choice, they would have made a sale. But from the sound of things, the store will make out just fine.

Elaine and I have been pet owners for years, 13 cats and 5;dogs over the years, all have slept with us, none we really went out of our way to adopt them, at one stage we had six cats at the same time sleeping with us, Including the dog, so I understand your love of them, they are rewarding, we remember every single one, beautifully written, blessings Roy

Elaine and I have been pet owners for years, 13 cats and 5;dogs over the years, all have slept with us, none we really went out of our way to adopt them, at one stage we had six cats at the same time sleeping with us, Including the dog, so I understand your love of them, they are rewarding, we remember every single one, beautifully written, blessings Roy

Good for you. I have allergies. Animals are nice to have around when you do not have a partner. I have become a hermit, so it doesn't bother me much.
Boy, I love my Grammarly. Sometimes I write so fast I misspell. Nice story/ Sweet picture.Oskar seems very Egyptian. Karen

I wish you many happy years with Harley and Oskar. It sounds as if the girls were an integral part of your life. It's always sad when long-term pets pass away. My condolences.

Congratulations on the additions to your family and they really are very beautiful! Seems they will get theirown book as well, and I am sure it will be fascinating. I'm allergic to cats, but can identify with all the things available today. Same with dogs. So many choices. My seven-year-old granddaughter loved the green monkey that Sunny got for Christmas, and begged me to buy her one. So today I visited PetBarn and ... well yes. Her birthday is coming up soon and one of her gifts will be a dog toy! LOl.
Great story, and an enjoyable read.
