Hmm, four little demons. Well, this is a nice flash fiction story with a good ending and well-made set-up. The wholesomeness of the story and the timeliness of the seasons will make this a hard one to beat.
Well done.

Thank you very much, lancellot, for your high praise of my story?s set-up and ending. And I truly appreciate those six bright stars.

You must be prepared! :) This writing was well written and tells a story in 80 words. Through descriptive words and imagery, the reader expects a snowball fight to occur, down the sidewalk, and expects the person in the long coat, to surprise, and win. This was enjoyable to review.
Best wishes!

Cute, though I never would have gotten paid if I didn't clear all the sidewalk.
As for throwing snowballs, I know not why we, as kids, thought throwing snowballs at passing cars was the passing on from youth.

Funny you should mention throwing snowballs at passing cars. I remember hiding behind a fence and hitting a car. The driver stopped the car and chased me for blocks. Fortunately he did not catch me. Thanks for sharing my story, Tom.

Yes, indeed, I, too, was chased. Once and done for a lifetime after that I never threw at another car.

I enjoyed reading this poem. It was quite humorous. Picture was perfect for the poem. It brings back memories of my days having snowball fights. Great job.
