I really enjoyed this chapter. I like Hannah and her ability to commune with animals and I enjoyed the descriptions of the house and garden.
I noticed one little spag issue - protecol. Looking forward to the next installment! :)

Hi Navada! Thank you so much for the review and comments. It?s so helpful for readers to pay attention, not just to the storyline, but the details of grammar as well. All invaluable!
Hugs,
Rhonda

This is such a lovely story. The king and queen act just like normal people and Hannah is a very special child, possibly the most unique kid in the family. Diantha remembers how overwhelmed she was when she came to the valley and wisely suggests Theo and Echo go for a walk in the garden. There is a hint that meeting all the brothers and sisters might be overwhelming for Echo.

Hi Carol, thank you so much for the review and comments. I'm glad you picked up on how humble Theo's parents are. It is a common theme throughout. Unfortunately for Echo, she will have a short respite before the rest of the kids show up, lol, with all their energy.
Thanks for reading,
Rhonda

It's funny, it's how I perceived it would be when, Evho is connected with this royal family, and undoubtedly Theo is quite definitely part. of that connection, that's why he watched over Echo in the woods, so beautifully portrayed Rhonda, you are a marvel at these stories, well done, blessings Roy

Your very discriptive words allow us to see all that Echo's sees, and what a glorious sight it is, too. I'd love to visit such a place if it existed. Echo has much to see and much to learn. They already know lots about her, so she must catch up. Loving this, my friend. It's such a gentle, sweet story. Love and hugs Sandra. xxxx

Thank you for your kind words and six stars, Sandra!
Don?t count on it staying sweet the whole way. Things will get nasty again soon, with an overall sweet umbrella, lol.
Love and hugs,
Rhonda

Another fine chapter, Rhonda....ah, nothing strikes fear in your heart quite like meeting the parent and family of your significant other, wondering if you'll meet with their approval.

A wonderful, magical chapter, my friend. Yep, Echo Jones has been chosen for royality, and methinks Theo is smitten anyway. The family certainly knows of it. You always have a new character and the bunny shown here is magnificent. Debi Pick Marquette and Kenzie are so talented and sweet to share the art. I love collaborations of talent and spirit.
Fabulouoso, my Texas rose.
Love across the bridge,

I enjoyed reading this chapter a lot! I thought you had a great balance of dialogue and description. I could get a sense of the character's personalities through what they were saying. The description of the Spectres hooked me and caught my interest, and I love how you ended the chapter before right as the king was about to give more information. It made me want to read more. Great job! Keep up the good work!

It is very nice artwork and story to go with it, Rhonda. You do a great job letting us see the world of Theo's parents. Excellent descriptive detail makes us feel we are there. You must know something about architecture because of your descriptions of the design.
I like how you don't jump in and Echo meets Theo's parents. There is so much to see, and I wouldn't mind having such a relaxing atmosphere and gorgeous house with the garden. You do a good job with Hannah's character. She sounds adorable, and it is obvious she loves animals. Sunny takes to her right away.
Theo's parents welcome Echo into their home and know her story, unbeknown to Theo and Echo. You even manage to get in Phoebus's reaction to the specters, followed by the mention of their Council. Diantha has the right idea at the end.
Very well done, my friend.
Two small things:
an inticing flower garden, [enticing]
named Sunny^ and he needs a place to run
