I read twp previous chapters and thisone at a stretch .The story is moving forward well ,M is a confused person now,The call, the old man are a bit unnerving .Hope her boyfriend gets some details about the old man..

Yes, it is confusing - but M is a good judge of Dougie's character, so I trust her judgment and I think others are playing games to do her head in. Well written

This is not a very good session with her counselor. She made a Dougie list when she should have been sleeping and then tells Carrie she doesn't want to fill her prescription. When she tells Carrie about Dougie supposedly stealing people's money and then about his phone call, I don't think either of them know where to go from there.

It seems that Miranda fervently believes that Dougie called her, and if that is r the case then Missy couldn't possibly have killed him. But everything has become a great complex mass of suppositions, and the possibility of working out what really happened is becoming unlikely, beautifully written, blessings Roy

Wow you've got quite a murder mystery going on here you have me grabbed from the start that's for sure! Is Missy our murderer I wonder... You had a lot going on in this chapter that's what intrigued me so much plus the fact that your characters are really fleshed out I feel like they're real and that it could be happening next door so I think it's a fine job a great entry I see no issues with grammar aesthetic subject matter or sentence structure great job I'd like to read more I hope you having a wonderful evening!

I guess this one just passed me by. I don't particularly "get" the good verses evil aspect of it and I found it a little bit difficult to want to read more. I believe you are a good writer as I've read other things by you, but I simply didn't get this one. I will say conversation was more natural, but the intent of that conversation not so much for me.
