Well done.
" 'Course, I know feet run in our family." - good one
I wonder why Shorty and John wanted to learn how to dance. Seems all was going their way, being beauty contest judges, and all.
Best wishes.

Thanks for your personalized review. Maybe I should have added another line about being isolated out on the farm. Another script had the characters starting spring cleaning to impress lady visitors, if they should invite them.

Most amusing. Lots of awful jokes and dreadful puns to make the script zip along. I can see this working very well on a stage. Your voices are authentic and characters well-delineated. Well done!

Thank you for your detailed review. I always go for clean humor in general, so that hopefully even a first or second grader in any audience will laugh, too.

I'll be honest. The first time I came across your script I shied away from it because of the number of characters (I figured I'd get way confused).
But I came back to it today and it read very easily. You guided the reader through the script effortlessly.
I loved Shorty's humor and you gave them excellent accents.
Well done and I'm glad I came back to read this. Sorry that I'm out of 6's!

Thank you for your great (and honest!) review. I also have a tendency to avoid long, serious scripts with too many characters. Luckily there is no comprehension test full of questions attached to any of mine, ha ha. Thanks for reading!

What a great finish with shorty making a very good wise crack. John and shorty in another great script, writing about two old favourites learning how to dance, at least John has done well, beautifully written Crystie, blessings Roy

Thank you so much, Roy, for stopping by to read and review. I ought to go dancing sometime soon, too.

That will be great

Good morning Crystie,
Wonderful and I believe well written humerous script. Boy you certainly have a vivid imagination.
Not sure how old you are but did you ever see the weekly show about the talking horse? Mr Ed... (I can not recall the name of the show??)
Not sure why but your script brought back that memory.
Have a wonderful day,

Thank you for reading and reviewing. I am a month shy of 55. I remember "Mr. Ed" but only ever saw a couple of episodes on reruns somewhere. It came up a week ago on a cable view, but I couldn't talk my mom into watching it.

Oh my goodness, Mr Ed came on with reruns... Funny I should mention it, don't you think?

Good picture and good script. I would recommend you apply to the Disney channel or Dove , This script harkens back to a sweeter kinder time. Good luck. The book "For Kathy" the book for Bill Schott's wife still needs stories, poems and prayers. Karen

Thank you for stopping by to read and review. I am a big fan of classic Disney. I appreciate your comments and the reminder.

It reminded me of "Spin and Marty" on the Disney Channel.
I love the old classics. Karen

Lol. A very humorous script - and one does wonder about the romantic prospects for each. Somehow I don't think Jumper will learn to dance but it did provide the opportunity for some clever plays on words. Well done.

Thank you for your super review. The longest melodrama script I wrote before all these short ones actually gets the two characters married off to lovely ladies. Can't remember if I posted that in sections or not yet.
Comment from Navada
Ha! I enjoyed this script with its fun variety of characters. The backstory of the beauty contest made for some interesting possibilities between the ladies and the two men. I particularly enjoyed Shorty's propensity for a bad pun! Thanks for the share!

Thank you for your great review. I aim to make people laugh or at least smile. And I can always blame the characters for my puns, ha ha.

Thanks for cheering us up with this "punny" play with our favorite Western heroes John and Shorty! I remember the beauty contest episode. Glad that Shorty was able to learn to dance after all. Maybe he'll be married sooner than he thought.

Thank you for your comments and fine review. I have to go look and see if I ever posted the longer melodrama in sections where the two find suitable wives. It was a musical script, though, and I think it's hard to include songs here.
-
It is hard to attach songs unless it's already in a YouTube video. I have been able to include only short ten second snippets.
