It?s always nice to have friends who are Christian authors, yet I love most of them, Christian or not. This is my first review in almost a year. I couldn't have dreamed of a better place to start. Although I liked your rhyming quatrains individually, it was the theme of Jesus inviting us to come to Him that resonated with me the most.

An easy read, it rolled right off the tongue. I love how you gave three stories in such an impactful way that I felt like I knew each of them and my heart sank for them. Sometimes you just have to trust and continue along the path for that is all you can do.

This poem is so warm and touching, I feel like I know the people of the names mentioned, Sue, the kids, Jill and Tim. Each story culminated by the words, 'come follow me'. And at the end, giving Jesus all their baggage.
Sad poem but true. But should not sadden the reader because of the uplifting spirit and words.
I hope your Christmas cheer gave you smiles...

Oooh, one more thing John. I have been meaning to ask you where I would find the Mummer?s string band playing in Philadelphia on NY Day? Is it ABC, CBS or what time?? Lorraine says they play every year there. I would love to see that.

I marched with the Avalon String Band way back in the day.

Later I thought how easy it would be to use ones of my own issues with health and other less problems, but no, I just made it up as I went. Of course not the part about Jesus. It is nice how you had three examples of incidents that could destroy a person's self esteem but if you know that the Lord's loves you and is with you through your ups and downs, you can get through it without harming yourself. In other words, it is good know the Lord in order to have inner peace.
