Fitting for the contest. This is why my husband and I both agree that men and women can never simply be "just friends." Biology will almost always inevitably take over. One will gather feelings even if the other doesn't.

This is such an interesting idea and you've deployed it very well in our structure and rhyme. There's a movie script in this - first the commission of the adultery, the discovery and how it played out without your character and Peg becoming aware, the death of your character, whatever happens to Peg as well, and then the aftermath. :)

This is nicely made. I can't say the ending was a surprise or a man entrusting his wife with his best friend, who does her is something new, but you did tell this classic love triangle tale well.
