Oh my goodness! Your life! I've remembered why I fanned you - for these amazing tales from the south. This one beggars belief. But they adversity makes you stronger? Excellent prose writing. x

Thank you for the nice review and comments. Yes my life was very chaotic at that time. It seems something is always going on an not necessarily in a good way.

We've been fortunate enough never to have experienced a fire personally, but if one drives around the suburbs we live in, there are quite a few, and when thieves steal cars, they tend to torch them. Beautifully written, well done Beth, thanks for sharing, blessings Roy
Typo : I'm 47 and have been (workeding) working?

Thank you Roy. Fires are bad. We lost of lot of memories like pictures and love letters in the fire but I thankful my children weren't injured and even the cat survived.

An enjoyable read, and I can feel the pain caused by the fire and all the hard work involved in starting over.Looking forward to hearing what comes next in your adventurous life.

2. She is (a) nurse
3,4. the family just experience (experienced) a fire which occured the day after Christmas. It was (the) result
5. and if your (you're) interested in reading it,

Thank you Wendy. I added that backstory as an afterthought. I should have edited it. Thanks for catching my mistakes. I appreciate your review and comments.

Oh my goodness Beth, you packed so much action into your short write here that i feel rather shell shocked. I can't imagine what it must be like for your house to burn down and having to start all over again. And your daughter entering one disaster after another, you must have a lot patience Beth. What a traumatic time in your life here.

Just one suggestion for this line:
( . . . . have been (working) for a printing company)

Thank you for sharing a part of your life with us here, love Dolly x

Yes, I remember this story. I can't imagine how Connie felt after knowing she caused the fire and then also crashed the car. You and Evan have modeled resilience for your children. And how wonderful that Don could help do the contracting for the house!

Thank you Helen. Don did a great job with the contracting. He is very gifted at doing anything with his hand except working on automobiles. LOL I appreciate the review.

What is amazing in life are the things we experience and trusting God for the answers. It seems He was with you and your family and as always. He made the way for a bright and blessed future.
Good one, Beth as always.

Life does send a person a curve ball occasionally. I've had a few myself. I'm so sorry to hear about the fire. That must have been frightening. When it gets out of control, it's worse yet. Glad that you were able to get by these days of wondering what is going to happen next.

Thank you Rosemary. Yes, we had a few curve balls very close together in that time of our life. Thankfully we got through them. I appreciate your review.

That's a lot of trauma house bringing down all your memories and stuff in. I'm glad your family was not harmed. Such a story indeed my sister's home burnt down to the ground. They lost everything. So this sits with me definitely. I see no issues with grammar esthetics, subject matter or sentence structure submission. If this is a true sorry that piece of work and a fine submission. Hope you have a great night!

Thanks Lea. The one about the fire had even more trauma. I put it back on yesterday but I don't think anyone was notified. It has only got two reviews. It is a true story.

I thoroughly enjoyed this as I do all your family sagas. I believe I may have told you when my wife was a child, her father owned an inn that burned down and she had to undergo a lot of the trials as your family. Also, the day of the Challenger tragedy, I was working at the newspaper. I remember the press shut down for a long time. We were told what happened and I still have that terrible feeling, now looking back.

Thank you Jim. I really appreciate the review and comment. I'm so glad you like this. Fires are no fun. Neither are tornados. I had both set me bacl a bit.
