WOWIE ZOWIE!! Imagine being 67, a musician my entire life, and having NO KNOWLEDGE WHATSOEVER of ANY part of this: not braille for vocalists, not even more complicated braille for conductors, and CERTAINLY not Julee Anne Bell (perfect last name, right?).

This was fascinating and extremely well-crafted, Wendy. You presented this with such an interesting-and-informative flourish that I never wanted it to end.

Next item on my To Do List? Listen to the Climb Every Mountain duet!! I LOVED this absolutely wonderful read today!! Gosh, but I am way smarter, thanks to you! xoxoxo

Thank you for your wonderful review. Yes a perfect last name for a musician. I am sure you will enjoy the duet. And you will also see her delightful personality and why she would be a brilliant choir conductor. I am glad you loved the piece and the new information. She has really achieved extraordinary things. Many thanks too for the six shining stars. I am grateful and thankful.

I expect you just need to use your ears to know if something sounds good and this tribute to this blind conductor is informative and a pleasure to read Wendy. I enjoyed reading about this amazing artist in Australia, she sounds very talented and kind too, a fine post Wendy.

I just came from YouTube where I watched her audition as well as her duet with Guy Sensation...

I'm sitting here blubbering like a baby!

What a beautiful voice! Her proud husband, looking on with such love and pride, undid me!

Music transcends any single sense...

Julee-anne is spine tingling wonderful!

May we all remember her and do our very best to make a joyful noise!

This is an amazing story of a very gifted person who must have to work much harder than others because of her handicap. I don't if choirs are making a comeback. We have school choirs and church choirs and Barbershop groups both male ane female. I love choral music.

Thank you Beth! Such a kind review. We now have choirs for people with dementia and Parkinson?s. It really helps their breathing even.

It is so much nicer to hear and read good things said of good people. You seemingly have a arrow in your quiver for any and all who meet the call to do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Well done.

What a beautiful written story about a very unique and courageous woman. I enjoyed the story very much. It just goes to prove that in spite of our limitations we can still do things that are amazing. Thanks for sharing this lady with us. When I first saw the title, I immediately thought of the musical sound of music. Patricia.

Once again you have highlighted a very deserving individual. Julee-anne sounds like an amazing person. I would think it nearly impossible to conduct a complicated piece blind without a fantastic memory, exceptionally finely tuned hearing, and a very (I'm lost for a word here) enthusiastic choir.
Very nicely written.
Best wishes.

Another uplifting piece from you:-) When I saw the title, I thought, "I wonder who she's profiling that is climbing mountains."

I love Julee-anne's philosophy that one can DO anything. This seems to be the philosophy of every handicapped person who has exceled.

I love the thought that she transfers the music from the left hand, through her brain, and then into the right hand. What a marvelous thing!

An inspirational story to begin my day, Wendy. Thank you for sharing.
