I really like that this lovely 5-7-5 contest entry opens the door for readers to ponder upon what special thing is waiting at the end of the walk. Perhaps a crackling log in the fireplace? Maybe the scent of a fabulous meal nearly read to eat? Or, perhaps, a loving smile from someone special.
